RALEIGH--Both presidential campaigns are trying to gain voter support, as the presidential election is headed into the home stretch.

Oscar nominee Don Cheadle hosted an area kickoff event at the Obama campaign office in Raleigh on Saturday.

Former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty was also in the Triangle, attending two events in support of Mitt Romney.
