CHARLOTTE – Parishioners at Providence Road Church of Christ took time to roll up their sleeves Sunday to give the gift of life.

The church hosted the Community Blood Center of the Carolina's for a blood drive. Organizers said the center is in dyer need of donations this time of year. Type 'O' donors top the list of demands, but all blood type donations make a difference.

Anyone who sees the donation bus around town is encouraged to stop in and make a donation. The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas has five donation centers across the News 14 Carolina viewing area.
