CHARLOTTE – The four North Carolina Air National Guardsmen killed while fighting wildfires in South Dakota have all been laid to rest.

Loved ones gathered at Carmel Baptist Church in south Charlotte to pay their final respects to Senior Master Sergeant Robbie Cannon at his funeral service yesterday.

Saturday, dozens of patriot Guard riders led a funeral procession for Lieutenant Colonel Paul Mikeal. He was laid to rest at Zion United Methodist Church in Todd.

Maj. Ryan David and Major Joe McCormick were all killed two weeks ago. David's funeral was Friday afternoon at Appalachian State University in Boone.

McCormick was also buried Friday following a service at South Point Baptist Church in Belmont.
