The box office saw an action adventure take the top spot during it's debut weekend. “Spider Man” raked in a whopping $65 million in ticket sales.

Meanwhile, last week's number-one movie “Ted” dropped to second place. The R-rated comedy, directed by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, pulled in $32.6 million this weekend.

Rounding out the top three was Disney and Pixar's "Brave." The fairy-tale held on to the third spot for the second week in a row with $20 million.
