CHARLOTTE — A cooling station in uptown Charlotte has hosted 75 to 80 people a day since it opened Friday.
The station, at the Hal Marshall Center, is open again until 8 p.m. Sunday. Anyone who feels their home may be too hot can stop by, take a break, get a snack and a cool drink.
