CHARLOTTE--Dozens of people left breakfast to the Charlotte Fire Department Auxiliary Saturday morning.
For five dollars, recipients got pancakes, toppings, coffee and juice. The is the second year CFD's Auxiliary served up pancakes for a good cause.
"This year it is going to support Camp Courageous. They take inner city youth to camp for one week to experience things that there is no other way that they would ever see," said volunteer Nicole Washington.
The pancake breakfast was held at Atherton Mills in south end.
Last year's breakfast raised $800 dollars, and volunteers were hoping to double that amount.
