STATESVILLE, N.C.--An Iredell County teenager is back behind bars after he escaped during a home visit.

The inmate, identified as “Shaheem M.” fled from a home on Wilson Street in Statesville around 7:30 p.m. Friday.

He was placed back into custody early Saturday afternoon.
