FAYETTEVILLE -- Fayetteville's annual Dogwood Festival begins Friday in Festival Park. It will feature arts & crafts, lots of food and several musical acts, including the Band of Oz and the Spin Doctors. Country singer Gretchen Wilson will perform at a kickoff party Friday night.

The festival is free but admission to her concert is $15. Last year's festival generated $4.5 million in revenue for Fayetteville. The festival ends on Sunday.
