Fire in basement of Lexington construction company under control

LEXINGTON — Lexington firefighters say they have a two-alarm fire under control.
No injuries were reported in the blaze. Dispatchers say the fire off of Highway Eight on Meadow Road was called in around 11:30 a.m.
Firefighters said the fire started in the basement of a construction company, where an upholstery shop was located.
There is currently no information on a cause of the fire.
