REIDSVILLE, N.C.--A man is dead after an industrial accident in Reidsville on Friday afternoon.
The accident happened after 2:30 p.m. at Southern Investments.
First responders say an employee was working on a machine that cuts up bundles of plastic bottles and got pulled into the device.
There were no signs of life when they arrived.
The company uses recycled materials in manufacturing.
"This particular machine is designed to take the bundle of plastics and separate them. It does involve some blades and it does have roller type press materials involved," said Jay Harris, Fire Marshall for Reidsville Fire Department.
Thursday, a 43-year-old man died in an industrial accident in Greensboro.
Police say he was pinned between a commercial cab carrier and a trailer at Evnonik Stockhausen.
