GREENSBORO, N.C. – Monday starts a five week long campaign to raise more than a hundred thousand pounds of food for the Triad community.
The Triad Can Do community food drive is partnering with local businesses by offering discounts and bonus items to customers that bring in non-perishable food items. The goal is to get a hundred businesses involved collecting 200 pounds of food per week.
Participating Greensboro companies include Montgomery's 623, the Honey Bun Boutique and Bovanti Cosmetics.
The drive will end August 19.
