RALEIGH -- The decline in gas prices may be nearing an end. They dropped six cents in the past three weeks.

But, according to the latest Lundberg Survey they'll stop falling due to the fact that crude oil prices haven't dropped in several weeks.

The national average for a gallon of regular gas is $3.40. In North Carolina, the average is $3.26.
