RALEIGH — All eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Raleigh are back open after an accident involving two trucks shut down traffic for nearly two hours.

The incident happened near the I-440 split at the Rock Quarry Road exit. Motorists were asked to avoid the area while crews cleaned up diesel fuel spilled during the crash. According to Raleigh Police, there were no life-threatening injuries.

Police have not released what may have caused the crash.
