GREENSBORO -- The Greensboro Chamber of Commerce says it reached more than half its goal in a campaign to put people back to work.

Last month, the chamber kicked off its One Job initiative, an effort to have local businesses hire at least one person and create, in all, 1000 jobs by August 2012. It says so far 70 companies have pledged to create more than 680 jobs.
