Richmond Senior, the fourth-ranked team in the Reeds Jewelers 14 to Watch, defeated neighboring Anson County 14-2 Friday night in the Time Warner Cable Game of the Week. The win gives the Raiders a 3-0 record while the Bearcats dropped to 0-3.

Butler will likely retain the top spot on the 14 to Watch list after getting by Vance 35-14. No. 2 Jack Britt kept pace with a 27-17 win over Hoggard and Wake Forest-Rolesville escaped a trip to Southern Durham with a 24-17 victory.

If style points come into play, the top four might have to watch out for Mallard Creek. The fifth-ranked Mavericks completely destroyed East Mecklenburg 74-0.

Reidsville, No. 8 on the list, increased its win streak to 51 with a 48-7 thrashing of McMichael. Green Hope finds itself on the other end of the spectrum, having lost its 30th consecutive game, a 21-9 defeat at the hands of Jordan.

Two 14 to Watch teams may be on the outside looking in next week. No. 11 A.L. Brown lost to Thomasville 20-7 and 12th-ranked Middle Creek was upended 26-16 by Garner.
