Let's Cook: Tortilla chips and salsa

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 tomato - diced
• Juice of 2 limes
• Red onion - diced
• Cilantro
• Salt
• Black pepper
• Peanut oil for frying
• Tortillas cut into quarters

PROCEDURE:

1. Mix together the tomato, lime juice, red onion, cilantro, salt and pepper.

2. Heat peanut oil in a deep pot and drop tortillas into the oil. Cook until oil calms down. Chips should be firm.

3. Use strainer to remove tortillas and drain off excess oil.

4. Spread on paper-lined cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt.
