GREENSBORO—For four straight days, fans and basketball teams alike have been battling it out at the Greensboro coliseum.
On championship Sunday, Duke blue and white could be seen nearly everywhere you looked—with a little sprinkle of Georgia Tech gold thrown in the mix.
"It's been so much fun, it's been exciting, the fans have been great, the rivalry has been wonderful," said Faith Burns, a senior at Duke.
Even though Georgia Tech and Duke were playing in the final match-up, fans for every ACC team were here for the championship game.
"Carolina went out early, but it's still been a lot of fun. And we're pulling for Georgia Tech today," said Liz Clark, a Carolina fan.
Duke led Georgia Tech for the majority of the game, but despite the Yellow Jackets best efforts, the Blue Devils were able to hold on for the championship win.
"My Spring Break, all I've wanted to do was watch our boys cut the net down so I'm so excited," said Burns.
The ACC Championship game day also fell on selection Sunday. Following the tournament win, Duke was given a number one seed in the Southern region.
