CHARLOTTE – Police charged three people in connection with the discovery of a body in a dumpster at a Charlotte apartment complex.

A maintenance worker called to fix a leaking pipe inside a unit at the Windgate apartments Friday, spotted blood and called 911. Detectives discovered the body in a nearby dumpster.

The victim had been subletting the apartment.

Police arrested Juan Alberto Rivera-Amaya, Yadira Fernandez and Isidro Bueno. All are charged with concealment of death. Bueno is also charged with maintaining a place for prostitution.

The victim’s name has not bee released.
