Tom O'Brien got some good news Wednesday when junior college transfer Robert Caldwell and defensive tackle A.J. Ferguson were both cleared to practice.
Caldwell had to wait for the NCAA's eligibility center to give the thumbs-up.
The team is still waiting for word on running back Mustafa Greene, who needs to get his academic situation in order. Greene missed all of last year with a foot injury and last played in the Wolfpack's Champs Sports Bowl win over West Virginia in 2010.
