McMillan to interview for Bobcats coaching job; Sloan shows interest

The Charlotte Bobcats coaching search continues with former N.C. State player and Portland Trail Blazers head coach Nate McMillan next on the interview list. Also believed to be in the hopper is former Utah Jazz bench boss Jerry Sloan. Several published reports say Sloan looks at the Bobcats job as “intriguing.”

Two people familiar with the situation say the Bobcats will interview Orlando assistant Patrick Ewing on Thursday in Charlotte for their vacant head coaching position. The people say Charlotte will interview Memphis assistant Dave Joerger on Friday.
