RALEIGH – A glitch in the student choice system means hundreds of Wake County parents will have to select their school again.

The problem affects nearly 1,200 students entering middle school this fall who chose schools that feed into multiple high schools.

The glitch meant parents couldn't pick which high school they wanted. It has been fixed and parents have been notified, but it means those parents will have to reselect their schools

They have until Feb. 24 to make their choices.
