FORT BRAGG -- A Fort Bragg solider has been sentenced to nine months in prison for the stabbing death of a fellow paratrooper. Spc. Nicholas Bailey is one of two soldiers charged in the death of 19-year-old Spc. Morganne McBeth in Iraq in 2010.
Bailey plead guilty on friday as part of a plea deal. He was demoted to private and given a bad conduct discharged.
Tyler Cain was convicted last year of obstruction and making false statements about the stabbing and was demoted and sentenced to a month in jail.
