FAYETTEVILLE -- The Army's Army paid a special tribute to military fathers for Father's Day weekend. They held a flash mob with singers and surprised a soldier and his family at Cross Creek Mall Saturday. They sang America the Beautiful to his wife and six children.

Organizers say it took months to prepare. The Army's Army is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the army and their families in Cumberland County.

Time Warner Cable, the parent company of News 14 Carolina, sponsored the event.
