CHARLOTTE--Home prices are up for the second straight month.

According to financial services company Standard and Poor's, prices were up more than two percent in May compared to the month before. The report says prices are still down by less than one percent compared to a year ago.

Experts say sales tend to be higher in the spring and early summer.
