RAEFORD--Hoke County deputies are investigating a homicide at a club on Doc Brown Road in Raeford.

The shooting happened just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday at McRae's private club.

Detectives said someone shot 33-year-old Royal Wyatt Jr.

Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene.

Their investigation also showed several people assaulted Wyatt before the shooting.

Authorities said they do have some possible suspects, but have not released any information about them.
