FAYETTEVILLE — Firefighters are investigating a house fire in Fayetteville Friday night that left one person without a place to stay.

Officials were called out to a single-story home on Bramblewood Court shortly after 8:15 p.m. They say there was fire damage in a bedroom and smoke damage throughout the house. However, there was no one home at the time.

Authorities are still looking into the cause of the fire.
