Looking for a little extra cash? One easy way to do so is by trading in your old electronics that you no longer use. There are a few companies that will pay top dollar for phones and gadgets that just take up space in your home.

There are many different trade-in sites that exist, but here are the most common two:

1. NextWorth is one. All you do is enter in the electronic you have, answer a few questions, and then it tells you how much you will earn with it. Plus, you can print out a pre-paid shipping label to use. You can choose to get cash or get a gift card with the amount from Amazon.com or Target.

2. Gazelle is another good place to sell or recycle your electronics. You enter in your information on the cell phone, mp3 player, laptop, or digital camera that you have and you will get a quote quickly. They will pay for shipping and even send you a box if you need it. After your electronic is inspected you will get paid by check or Paypal. You can also decide if you want the money to go to charity.

Both places even accept electronics that are not worth any money. They promise to make sure it is recycled responsibly. It is a wonderful way to do your part.
