WINSTON-SALEM --A tae kwon do master from the Tar Heel State just found out he's receiving top honors.

Master Woo Sup Kim will be traveling to the summer Olympics in London to serve as captain of the American men's and women's tae kwon do teams.

Kim was highly recommended for the position by hundreds of his fellow masters from across the country.

"I'm very proud to work with such talented athletes and coaches, and I have great confidence in the teams,” Kim said.

As captain, Kim will be in charge of overseeing both teams.
