SHELBY--Police have arrested a Shelby woman for influencing two teenage girls to fight on June 1st.

A three minute video of the altercation was posted on Facebook. Police say 33-year-old Stephanie Jones was heard in the video cheering on one of the girls, as well as threatening to cut her if she lost the fight.

Shelby Police Chief Jeff Ledford says two people alerted the department about the video.

Jones is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, simple assault, and communicating threats.

She was released on bail.
